Terms of Service

Effective 2025-09-15 · last updated 2026-04-22 · v2.1

These Terms govern your use of the compute-edge platform (the “Service”) operated by Compute-Edge OÜ, an Estonian private limited company with registry code 16847291 (“Compute-Edge”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or deploying code, you (“Customer”) agree to these Terms.

01 Acceptance

You accept these Terms by creating an account, deploying a function, or otherwise using the Service. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

02 The Service

compute-edge provides an edge runtime that executes Customer-uploaded functions at our PoPs, along with associated KV and Object storage primitives. The list of available PoPs, supported runtimes, and resource limits is published on our website and in the documentation.

We may add, remove, or modify features. Material changes affecting paid plans will be communicated at least 30 days in advance to the account billing email.

03 Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We log all administrative actions on your account and make those logs available to you on request (or by default on Org plans).

04 Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations with reasonable notice, or immediately where required by law or to prevent ongoing harm.

05 Fees & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in arrears for usage above the included allowances, or annually in advance for Org plans. Prices are listed at /pricing and are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. VAT for EU customers). Invoices are issued through our payment processor and payable on receipt.

You can set a hard spending cap in the dashboard. When the cap is reached, the Service will respond with HTTP 429 until the cap is raised or the next billing cycle begins.

06 Your code & data

You retain all rights to the code and data you upload to compute-edge. We do not use Customer code or data to train any model, derive any aggregate product, or otherwise benefit beyond operating the Service for you.

You grant us the minimum licence necessary to operate the Service: to host, replicate, transmit, and execute your code at our PoPs; to display your stored objects to recipients you direct; and to retain backups for the durations described in our Privacy Policy.

07 Availability

We target 99.9% monthly availability on Pro plans and 99.95% on Org plans. Org plans receive service credits per the terms in the Order Form when availability falls below the target in a given month. Maintenance windows are announced in advance and excluded from availability calculations.

08 Termination

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deployed functions are deleted within 30 days of cancellation unless you export them first. We may terminate for non-payment, material breach of these Terms, or a legal requirement; we will attempt to give 14 days’ written notice where lawful.

09 Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. Except as expressly stated in these Terms or any Order Form, we make no warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your statutory consumer rights under EU and Estonian law are not affected by this section.

10 Limitation of liability

Neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms is limited to the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

11 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes will be heard by the Harju County Court in Tallinn, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

12 Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to the account holder at least 30 days before they take effect, and will be posted at this URL with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
